GHK-Cu is the copper-bound form of the naturally occurring tripeptide Gly-His-Lys (GHK). The peptide spontaneously forms a 1:1 complex with Cu(II), producing the biologically active complex GHK-Cu. It is one of the most thoroughly characterised regenerative tripeptides in the dermatology and matrix-biology literature. Research applications: dermal fibroblast and keratinocyte proliferation assays, collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis studies, wound-healing kinetic models, copper-mediated antioxidant pathway investigation, hair-follicle dermal-papilla cell research, and gene-expression profiling (GHK-Cu modulates several thousand genes in published transcriptomic studies). Supplied as a lyophilised blue-violet powder (copper-complex colour). Reconstitute with sterile water for injection. Lyophilised storage: -20°C, 24+ months. Reconstituted: 14-30 days at 2-8°C, protected from light. QC: RP-HPLC + ICP-OES (copper content) + ESI-MS. COA per lot.
