Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid synthetic peptide acting as a dual agonist at the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor. The molecule includes a C20 fatty diacid moiety bound via a γGlu-2xAEEA linker for extended half-life in research models. Research applications: dual-incretin receptor pharmacology, comparative agonism vs single-pathway GLP-1RA compounds, β-cell function studies, glucose homeostasis in preclinical models, weight-regulation pathway investigation, and structure-activity analysis of fatty-acid-modified peptides. Supplied lyophilised, sterile filtered, sealed under inert atmosphere. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water; reconstituted shelf life ~21 days at 2-8°C. Lyophilised: -20°C, 24+ months. Each batch QC'd via RP-HPLC + LC-MS. COA available.
